One address, read by the people who write the site. There is no form to fill in, no phone number and no postal address, because none of those would add anything.
The address
info@pleasureislandonline.com
What is worth writing about
- Factual corrections. The most useful message this address receives. Name the page, quote the sentence, and say what is wrong with it. A correction with a reason attached will be acted on.
- Gaps. A subject that belongs on the map and is not there yet, particularly where existing writing elsewhere is thin or wrong.
- Clarity problems. A passage that reads as ambiguous, or that could reasonably be understood two ways. That is a defect worth knowing about.
- Accessibility problems. Anything that makes a page hard to read or hard to navigate, including with assistive technology.
What this address cannot do
It cannot give medical advice, and it cannot answer questions about symptoms, pain, diagnosis or treatment. Those need a doctor who can actually examine and ask follow up questions. Nothing on this site is a substitute for that, and a reply attempting one would be worse than no reply at all.
It also cannot give personal recommendations for specific products, because a recommendation made without knowing anything about the person asking is a guess dressed up as advice. The sensation finder and the first vibrator guide are written to let a reader reach that decision on their own terms, which is a better outcome than an answer by email.
Replies
Messages are read. Not all of them receive an individual reply, and corrections are prioritised over everything else. Anything sent to this address is used only to answer the message it belongs to, as described on the privacy page.
